Fentanyl Awareness Day: Good Morning San Diego interview with Dr. Bruce Figuered

Fentanyl Awareness Day seeks to increase awareness and educate Californians on the dangers of this substance. Thousands of pounds of illegal fentanyl, including fake pills, have been seized in California by state and federal law enforcement.  The state recently announced increased safety measures to decrease overdoses, and initiatives to curb drug use. Dr. Bruce Figuered understands that addiction can be the outward sign of internal mental health issues, and wants to end the stigma associated with asking for help.
