Support for America’s Service Members
West Coast is proud to offer addiction treatment and mental health services to the men and women of the military—active-duty personnel, veterans, and their family members. We provide specialized outpatient treatment, including partial hospitalization and an intensive outpatient day program. Whether you have been discharged from an inpatient treatment facility or are looking for outpatient treatment, we can help you build a life of purpose and fulfillment.
One in 10 veterans struggles with a substance use disorder according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. This can include drugs, alcohol, and prescription drugs when not used as prescribed. While the reason for substance use can vary, many members of the military report using drugs or alcohol to cope with mental health issues or to forget the trauma they may have faced in their lives. Without treatment and support, these mental health issues and the resulting substance use can spiral out of control.
Fortunately, the West Coast team is here to help. Since 2012, we have helped members of the military and their loved ones face their mental health and substance use disorders and provide them with the treatment, tools, and support they need to heal or break the cycle of addiction and find joy in sobriety. We believe treatment should be transparent and individualized to help each client find lasting, self-determined recovery. We offer a variety for you to choose from so you can tailor your experience to ensure success by meeting your specific recovery needs.
Outpatient Programs for Military Members
Many members of the military and veterans find it difficult to stop using drugs or alcohol on their own. Sadly, the number of individuals coping with these issues following their service seems to be growing. Today, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates one in 10 veterans treated at the VA after returning from Iraq or Afghanistan face problems with alcohol or drugs. Our team is here to help veterans and active duty military face their mental health and substance use disorders.
We know the trauma of military service can impact an entire family, which is why we also provide treatment for military family members. We regularly treat military dependents, including spouses and adult children.
We understand that members of the military have obligations and lives outside of treatment. It is our goal to provide you with a level of care that is not only clinically appropriate but also allows you to fulfill your other obligations. We offer a wide variety of levels of care to create a treatment plan that best fits your needs.
Affordable Treatment
At West Coast, we strive to make treatment accessible and affordable for as many people as possible. We are proud to be an in-network addiction treatment and mental health provider for TRICARE and TriWest in collaboration with the Veterans Administration.
We work with most major insurance companies on an in-network basis.
